After the success of the last two editions of the Virtual Symposium ‘Endodontics 3.0’, in which there was a big number of attendees, the third edition arrives, this time centred around endodontic innovations, where prestigious professionals will present the latest and greatest innovations of this field. This edition, broadcasted for the whole world, will be emitted in English and presented by 8 speakers from different countries. Additionally, subtitles in Spanish will be available.
Under the name ‘Endodontics 3.0: the latest innovations now in your hands’, the next 14th of February, from 16:00 to 20:15 (UTC +1), this free to attend event will be held. The aim is to continue offering innovative content of interest that help consolidate endodontics as one of the odontologic branches that raises the most curiosity and demands a high rate of divulgation and training among professionals.

Agenda of the Third Edition of Virtual Symposium ‘Endodontics 3.0: the latest innovations now in your hands’
Starring worldwide renown experts, this new edition of the virtual symposium ‘Endodontics 3.0’ will introduce the novelties of the 6th generation endodontic instrumentation systems and other topics such as minimally invasive endodontics or the disinfection of the apical area will be approached.
During the act, theory, practical cases and personal experiences from the speakers will be shared, and afterwards discussed in a debate forum at the last part of the Symposium.
This dynamic event can be experienced on livestream or, in case of not being able to attend, differed via the streaming platform prior accreditation.
At the end of the presentations, the debate will be opened for guests to ask doubts or share aspects of interest with the speakers, providing the afternoon with dynamism and facilitating the communication between professionals.
Speakers with international repercussion
In this occasion, Agustín Sánchez, CEO de Zarc4Endo, will be welcoming all participants to the event and afterwards moderating the debate. He will start the session talking about how to change the status quo of endodontics.
The lecture of Doctor Prashant Bhasin (India) will focus on the application of magnification in the field of endodontics to manage challenges such as MB2 channels, avoiding unwanted perforations or finding broken instruments.
Next, Doctor Arman Gazi (Belgium) will share his personal and professional experience using endodontic instruments, how they have positively affected his daily workflow, quality of work and comfort. He will explain how the 6th generation system has made his daily work easier and how to benefit from its features.
Doctor José Aranguren (Spain) will continue speaking about minimally invasive procedures. In his lecture, he will present a comparative overview of Slim Shaper vs some of the wider used instrumentation systems and will highlight some technical aspects and clinical cases of his professional experience.
Then, Doctor Ahmad Maradati (UK/Saudi Arabia) will talk about the importance of ‘thinking before acting’ when we talk about fractured files. He will explain different approaches to the problem, influencing factors and associated complications.
Subsequently, Doctor Alejandro Ruiz Pérez Ron (Portugal/Venezuela) will discuss about the importance of the disinfection of the apical third without affecting pericervical dentin. He will talk about causes and consequences of bacterial persistence in this apical third and what strategies to use to increase the chances of infection control.
Doctor Sergio Kuttler (USA) will give his lecture on irrigation in endodontics and its possible future. He will speak about the few different systems created to improve canal irrigation compared to the huge quantity for canal preparation and what the future awaits for irrigation.
Finally, Doctor Thomas Clauder (Germany) will talk about the advancements in obturation, and how bioceramic sealers have been gaining popularity in the last years. He will tackle what its known about these and which technique to use them is favourable.
At the end of these 8 lectures, a debate will start where all attendees will be able to solve their doubts with the guest speakers and share their opinions on the topics spoken about during the third edition of the Virtual Symposium ‘Endodontics 3.0’.
